Wilderswil, Switzerland – August 16, 2024 — Parasigna AG, an owner-managed Swiss company with its own electronics development, production in Switzerland and local support, has spun off from Parametric GmbH and is now operating as an independent company. Parasigna AG focuses on robust and sustainable digital signage solutions for special applications in challenging environmental conditions. In addition to long-lasting and efficient outdoor displays, the company also offers technologies such as wireless content transmission, streaming via mesh networks and big data and deep learning-based operational optimization. The technology is offered both for proprietary products and to support existing and heterogeneous signage networks.

With over 5,000 devices and displays deployed worldwide and more than 500 million hours of operation monitored, Parasigna AG has extensive experience in the industry. By combining display and mobile communication telemetry, weather models, image sensors and presence/traffic counting data, it has been able to build up in-depth know-how. This enables optimization that can massively reduce energy consumption and extend the lifespan of the screens.

Parametric GmbH will continue to operate in the field of rail optimization and further develop its solutions for minimizing noise and vibrations in railways, urban trains and trams. Andreas Koschak, owner of Parametric and Parasigna, emphasizes: "The spin-off enables both business areas to concentrate independently on their respective strengths and markets and to develop them further in a targeted manner. However, they will continue to work closely together and develop their overlapping methods and technologies at a rapid pace.
